Batting .252 with 11 home runs and 30 RBIs, Angels outfielder Hunter Renfroe doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon ... Except for the birth of his first child.

Renfroe's wife, Courtney, gave birth to a healthy baby girl Wednesday night.

The outfielder is expected to return to the field for Saturday's home game against the Mariners. In his place, the Angels called up Jo Adell from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Adell had been off to a hot start in Triple-A, batting .278 with 18 home runs and 43 RBIs. He did not make an appearance in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Chicago Cubs, but did start on Thursday and hit a home run in his first at-bat of the season.

The Angels have won their last three games and sit at 33-30.

Renfroe spent the first four years of his career in San Diego before one year stints in Tampa Bay, Boston and Milwaukee until landing with the Angels.
