Even though the Los Angeles Angels are not set to face off against their city-rival Dodgers until a little over a month from now, the Boys in Blue continue to appear in headlines with the Halos.

We've already received word that the Dodgers are going to go all-in this coming offseason if the 28-year-old superstar is not available for trade at the deadline. Apparently, Ohtani is going to use the Padres to offer him a massive contract and then head to the Dodgers and expect them to match the offer.

Despite being on top of the baseball world for the last season and bringing home a national championship in the WBC for Japan, Ohtani continues to be one of the most humble and laidback professional athletes we've ever witnessed. He focuses on his craft and prioritizes his family time whenever he's not playing.

But speaking of family, their needs and presences will also be very important in whether Ohtani is with a different franchise next season. He's already a favorite for the AL MVP and the Cy Young award which will mean a historic payday is on the way. The Dodgers have more enough money to throw at him but Juan Toribio appeared on Foul Territory recently and revealed the they will take an even more personal route to draw the star pitcher in.

“Whatever it is they have to do in order to try and get Shohei Ohtani, they’re going to do it this offseason,” Toribio said. “I think it will be tailored to whatever Ohtani and his family want. It’d be foolish for anyone to say that the Dodgers aren’t going to be heavily involved.”
