Your Los Angeles Angels are tied for first place in the AL West!! Now, we're only four games into the season, but you have to celebrate while you can, and this is a win for the Halos.

The job is nowhere near finished, but this is an excellent start for the Angels. So much so that they skyrocketed inside the top 10 in Bleacher Reports' latest MLB power rankings.

Bleacher Reports national MLB columnist Joel Reuter put the Halos at number six after the Opening weekend.

6. Los Angeles Angels (3-1)Previous: 13

If their opening series against the Oakland Athletics is any indication, the Angels rotation is going to be a strength this year with Shohei Ohtani (6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 10 K), Tyler Anderson (6.0 IP, 4 H, 0 ER) and Patrick Sandoval (5.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER) all dealing. Mike Trout, Ohtani and Taylor Ward each hit their first home run of the season in the series.

The five teams in front of the Angels are the Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Guardians, Minnesota Twins, and Tampa Bay Rays. All teams have either one or no losses, and the Angels deserve to be in the top 10. Four games in, and so far, the Halos look great, especially their pitching staff. They've only allowed four runs in their last three wins, and the offense has exploded for 26 runs in those three games.

Everyone has contributed, and they will be looking to do the same for the rest of the season. The Halos have been known to implode throughout the 162 games, and they will look not to repeat that this season. The front office has improved the team drastically; let's see how they do in the coming weeks.
