Angels News: Logan O’Hoppe Shows Love to Fans Amidst Historic Season
Your Los Angeles Angels are coming off a good series win against NL opponent Washington Nationals. After dropping the first game, the Halos took the next two games and are now on their way to Boston to take on the Red Sox in Fenway Park.
Your Halos have the day off today, a travel day in essence, and after yesterday's early win, Angels catcher Logan O'Hoppe showed some love to the fans on social media.
The rookie catcher has brought new life to the Angels. The 23-year-old has been tremendous for the team in the early part of the season, slashing .257/.308/.629 with a .937 OPS, four home runs, and 11 RBIs. As of Thursday, O'Hoppe is the team leader in home runs and RBIs. The rookie is showing up and showing out in his first legit shot in the majors.
We are currently looking at the Angels catcher for years to come; he's shown to be a threat in the lineup, and fans love him behind the plate.
The Logan O'Hoppe fever is at an all-time high. Hopefully, the youngster can sustain this type of play.
