Your Los Angeles Angels avoided the sweep yesterday and took down the final of three against the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-0.

Angels LHP Jose Suarez outing was like night and day from his previous start, which was extraordinary to witness. He did his thing, and the offense only got five hits, but it was enough to get the win. The Halos registered two homers, and one of those came courtesy of their two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani.

Ohtani blasted one to center in the third inning for a solo homer to tack on to their lead. That was his seventh homer of the year, and once again, the lefty slugger made history.

According to Orange Country Register's Angel insider Jeff Flecther, Shohei's homer peaked at 162 feet above the field, the highest ball he's hit this season, and it had a hang time of 6.98 seconds, the longest for any Angel home run since 2015.

He seems to break a record almost every time he steps onto the field, and Angels skipper Phil Nevin is just as amazed as we are.

“We haven’t seen many like that,” Nevin said. “It’s special. We see something new with him each day.”

The guy is insane, and I'm convinced he was made in a lab of some sort. Shohei is averaging .294 and a .897 OPS after Sunday's contest.

This isn't the first time, and it won't be the last that Ohtani enters the record books, make way for him.
