The Los Angeles Angels are off to an impressive start on their seven-game road trip. Their first stop was in the south side of Chicago, where they faced the White Sox in a three-game series. The Halos came out victorious, taking two out of three games. The Angels superstar duo, Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, did their thing and guided the Halos to victory. 

The Angels took the first and last game of the series thanks in part to the Halos superstar duo. The series finale was impressive as the Halos secured a comfortable 12-5 victory. Ohtani and Trout each hit home runs, electrifying the game and adding to the win column as they hardly lose when the duo homers in the same game. 

The action started early in the game when Trout smashed a home run in the first inning, immediately giving the Angels a 2-0 lead.

Ohtani followed suit, showcasing his power with a two-run homer in the third inning and another two-run homer in the fourth.

Overall, Ohtani was tremendous in the box as he delivered three hits, five RBIs, five runs scored, and an impressive total of three home runs. Meanwhile, Trout also showcased his skills, collecting three hits, three RBIs, three runs scored, and a homer in the games played in Chicago.

With their successful series against the White Sox behind them, the Halos now shift their focus to a crucial four-game series against their division rival, the Houston Astros.

These games will carry a ton of weight as the Halos try to inch closer to taking control of the AL West.
