Angels News: Shohei Ohtani & Mike Trout Somehow had Identical Stats Through 10 Games
Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout already share enough in common as it is. They both are the premier superstars on a Los Angeles squad that is currently trying to find their identity and place in the MLB. They also serve as two of the best sluggers in baseball and poise as home run threats whenever they step up to the plate.
That is why it was so special with the WBC ending the way it did, with Ohtani on the pitching mound and Trout staring him down from the plate. These are two guys that have enough on their resumes for people to argue them as the best talents in the league, even though Ohtani stans have more ammunition considering how that championship game ended.
However, it appears that these comparisons have become scary similar and the two former MVP's are closer in skill thank we previously thought.
Obviously, they are the two main options on the Angels but it appears that their stats were down to a crisp through the first ten games... have a look.
"This is not a typo on your screen. Talking about Troutani through ten games, they are both batting the same as far as the average, 11 hits, slugging the exact same number."

All of the best and most cherished duos in sports share the workload evenly among one another and mirror each other's success in a way, but this is just taking it to a whole other level.
LA has definitely witnessed some areas they need to improve to improve in but none of them involve their two franchise cornerstones.
