Angels News: Shohei Ohtani’s Historical Dominance Against the Seattle Mariners
When it's said and done and Shohei Ohtani decides to call it a career, I will not be surprised at all if he owns records against every team. When you look at the level in which he is dominating teams on both sides of the game and also add in the fact that he is still just 28-years-old, this league is going to have to deal with him for a long time.
The Seattle Mariners have been able to witness this firsthand this season as, despite some pitch clock violations, Ohtani struck out eight of their batters in their Wednesday match. Just the day before, the Mariners won 11-3 and the reigning WBC champion was not about to let that happen again.
And to make matters worse, Seattle has grown accustomed to this level of play from Ohtani, especially when he's playing them. The LA superstar has never lost a game to them in his career when he pitches.
"You look at his career, he's 5-0 against the Seattle Mariners on seven starts. on the season, he's now 1-0 with a .075 ERA and 18 K's in 12 innings pitched."

Beyond just the pitching mound, Ohtani has proved to be as dominant as ever at the plate as well. He is currently posting a slash line of .286/.400/.571 and has hammered home two home runs with six hits thus far into the seaon.
Hopefully the rest of the team can continue this great start as it's going to take more than just dominance against the Seattle Mariners to keep Ohtani in an Angels uniform.
