When Jo Adell was first drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2017 and began the climb through their minor league system, one word has been synonymous with the outfielder.

Power.

Well the now 24 year old hit his 20th home run of the season for the Salt Lake Bees on Tuesday night, and his latest shot to extend his Triple-A lead in homers was the bomb of all bombs.

Adell really hit a ball 514 feet. In a regulation baseball game. Not a Home Run Derby -- even though the Angels prospect turned it into his own person one.

It's the rarest of all feats to hit a ball that far, and Adell's prodigious blast not only is good enough to lead the pack in all levels of affiliated baseball this season, it also would be big enough to put him at the top of the mountain since analytics became mainstream.

For reference, Statcast has been used in all MLB ballparks since the 2015 season.

That's provides a pretty large sample size at this point. And even though Adell hit this one down on the farm, it's incredibly impressive to consider that that home run would be essentially the longest one ever tracked if he hit it one level up.

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster for Adell through his time with the Angels organization, as even though he's been a great Triple-A hitter for years now, he's been largely blocked from regular playing time in the bigs due to the Angels roster.

That inconsistent time is likely a significant factor in Adell's .215/.261/.362 slash line through exactly 162 MLB games over four seasons, but he's shown flashes of his ability when he's been given the chance -- including hitting a home run in his only game with the Angels this season.

And as the shot he hit on Tuesday shows, the team still has a sleeping giant in Adell over in Salt Lake City just waiting for a consistent run in Anaheim.
