Your Los Angeles Angels are in the thick of things through 38 games of the season. They're currently second in the AL West and are looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2014.

It's been a struggle for the Halos in recent years, but they hope to change that with the deepest team they've had in quite some time. The Angels have a good chance to get it done this year, but do they have enough? We're not sure yet, but if they remain in contention, look for the Halos to be buyers by the trade deadline.

If that's the case, the Angels could look at Detriot Tigers LHP Eduardo Rodriguez.

If the Angels continue to hang around the postseason picture, that could be a great landing spot for Rodriguez, as that starting rotation has been a mess aside from Shohei Ohtani and Patrick Sandoval.

The Angels could use all the help they could get in their rotation, and Rodriguez could be that guy. In 2023, Edurado is 4-2 with a 1.57 ERA, 47 Ks, and a 0.79 WHIP in eight starts and 51.2 innings.

The 30-year-old is having an incredible start to the season, and if the Tigers become sellers this trade deadline, keep an eye out for Rodriguez. The Tigers are in one of the worst divisions in baseball, standing at 17-19, putting them in second place in the AL Central.

The Southpaw leads them in almost every pitching category and is by far their best pitcher on the squad. Detriot is not going anywhere this season, and if LA remains in the hunt, they could look at Detriot's way to get a deal done.
