Angels Rumors: MLB Analyst Believes Shohei Ohtani Will be Traded to NL West Ballclub
We are officially two weeks away from the MLB Trade Deadline on August 1st, which means that the doomsday clock is ticking for Arte Moreno and the Angels as they have to decide if they will trade Shohei Ohtani or keep him until his contract runs out at the end of the season.
Everyone is screaming at Moreno to trade Ohtani so they can get something out of him, and one MLB Analyst says he knows where Ohtani will be traded to.
Eric Karros of FOX Sports predicts that Shohei Ohtani will be headed to the Bay Area as he will be traded to the San Francisco Giants.
Karros said this during a second-half season prediction statement, where he began saying that Ohtani will be playing in the postseason, but unfortunately, not with the Angels.
"He's going to play in the postseason... He has to play in the postseason. The Angels need to trade him if they don't, they're doing a disservice to the organization. Now you want me to take it a next step further. Who's he going to be playing for? He's going to be playing for the Giants. That's who he's going to be playing for."
