For all of the doubt that was surrounding the Los Angeles Angels over the offseason, you would think that they would be 0-4 right now looking like a dumpster fire. However, they instead sit at 3-1 tied with the Texas Rangers for first place in the AL West and are coming off of their third straight win as they took down the Seattle Mariners on Monday.

This Angels squad is super fun to watch right now and even when faced against a premier pitcher in George Kirby, their offense continued to be very productive.

Eugenio Suarez looked to get ahead of the Halos early as he pounded a double that brought Julio Rodriguez home.

Luis Rengifo was also a big part of the success and he drove in the second run of the season that helped bring in Jake Lamb.

After a Seattle RBI, Lamb was brought in once again by Rengifo. But right after that was when Shohei Ohtani decided to remember everybody why he could become the biggest trade target ever.

For jus the second time in two games, he recorded a home run and did at the best possible time.

It is important to note that all of this was taking place without Anthony Rendon seeing that he got scratched from the starting lineup. He is the midst of serving a four-game suspension after his appeal.

Rengifo has indeed looked to provide as much production as possible, as following a J.P. Crawford run, he scored yet again thanks to a Taylor Ward home run and then Brandon Drury gave LA one more run for a final score of 7-3.
