Your Los Angeles Angels are streaking right now. They're on a four-game win streak and just swept the St Louis Cardinals on the road.

The Halos are four games above .500 and will look to extend that as they are now back home. They will be back home for a six-game stretch against their division rivals, and manager Phil Nevin says his superstar player Mike Trout will be available for all six games.

Nevin told Angels insider Jeff Fletcher

Mike Trout was out of the lineup on Thursday, his third full day of the season. Nevin said he wanted to give Trout a day so he could use him for all six games against the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros on the upcoming homestand. …

Trout missed one game in this six-game trip as the Halos are doing their best to reserve their star player. They won't be doing that against their division rivals. The Halos will face the Texas Rangers the weekend and the Houston Astros to kick off next week.

The 31-year-old's .296 average, .971 OPS, eight home runs, and 19 RBIs will be needed against these early-season juggernaut opponents.

These stretches of games could hold a lot of weight when the AL West is all set and done. The Angels are second in the division behind the Rangers, separated by one game, and the Astros are right behind the Halos by 2.5 games.

The best will be needed from all teams, especially the Angels, who are looking to be a real threat in the division. These six games will tell us a lot about the Angels, and we'll see how they respond to the challenge.
