Angels Top Pitching Prospect Already Shining in 2nd Big League Game
Chase Silseth has stepped up big-time for the Los Angeles Angels already this season after just playing two games as part of the big league roster. He was called up amidst the struggles of Jose Suarez and the injury woes of reliever Austin Warren as LA clearly needed some support.
Silseth originally joined the franchise back in 2021 and has logged two years in the minor league since. He was given a shot at playing alongside the rest of the Angels on the official last season but he was not quite ready and he was sent back to the AAA to polish up his skills a little bit more.
However, he's been given the opportunity to once again solidify in his role in the major league thanks to being brought up recently.
Over the two times he's suited up thus far, he has allowed no hits or runs and two batters have also struck out at his hand.
Angels reporters were beyond ecstatic with what they saw from Silseth in LA's recent win over the Milwaukee Brewers.
"But I think this guy right here Chase Silseth coming up after being a starter, he pitched a couple of innings in relief and I think he's going to be the difference in the bullpen."
