The Angels' last split-squad doubleheader of 2024 is upon us. After today's games against the San Francisco Giants (1 p.m. in Tempe) and Kansas City Royals (6 p.m. in Surprise), the team will get a well-earned off-day Thursday.

Tyler Anderson, who will start against the Giants, has already clinched a spot in the Angels' season-opening rotation. The veteran left-hander has been hit hard (14 hits, six runs allowed in 12 innings).

Right-hander Andrew Wantz makes his second start of spring training against the Royals as he continues his conversion from starting to relieving. He hasn't allowed a run in 7.1 innings.
