Fans React to Angels Calling Up 2022 First-Round Pick Zach Neto

Zach Neto is officially a major leaguer. Today, he made his major league debut against the Boston Red Sox and started at shortstop for the Halos.
The news came as a bit of a shock to Angel fans, Neto, and his family. Even though that meant the demotion of veteran David Fletcher, Halo fans were still hyped for their 2022 first-round draft pick.

Great day!! For the #Angels when I look at Neto and O’Hoppe I see flashes of Posada/Jeter perennial all star anchors at two of the most important positions. #GoHalos

Like many decisions an organization makes, some aren't too fond of the news.

There are a couple of fans that don't love the move, but a majority of them are elated about Neto.
The 22-year-old is only a year into being drafted and will play one of the most important positions in all of baseball. The Angels will look to make some noise this season and it looks like Zach could be in the middle of that.
We're excited to see how he delivers for the Halos.
