The bad news of Logan O'Hoppe just got worse, Angel fans. The Angels young catcher will miss 4 to 6 months with a torn labrum, Angels manager Phil Nevin announced.

Logan O’Hoppe has a torn labrum, Nevin said. He’ll likely miss 4-6 months.

O'Hoppe spoke to the media after the news broke, and needless to say, he's heartbroken by the news.

"You wait your whole life, and you get here. And you get a taste at the end of last year. Then you work even harder. You get a taste of hopefully what the whole year has in store. I think that's the toughest part to deal with."

He hopes to play again this year.

This is crushing news for the Halos and their fans, as Logan was having a fantastic rookie campaign. O'Hoppe was finding his stride with the club and was establishing himself as a really good big leaguer.

Hopefully, it's the former with the amount of time he will miss, and we wish him the best in a speedy recovery.
