The Los Angeles Angels will host the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Pitcher Caden Dana will earn his first Cactus League start of the 2024 season.

Dana, the Angels' eleventh-round pick from 2022, has pitched just two innings so far through Spring Training. He has not given up a run and allowed one hit while striking out one hitter.

The good news for the inexperienced Dana is he will go up against the White Sox, who have the worst batting average this Spring Training. This is a good chance for Dana to get off to a strong start.

Lineups

How to Watch

Angels-White Sox will begin at 12:10 p.m. PST. The game will be broadcast on Bally Sports West. Listeners can also tune in on the radio via KLAA 830.

Predictions

Angels 6, White Sox 3

More

The Angels will field almost the same batting lineup as they used on Saturday. The lineup features seven of the same nine hitters, with Logan O'Hoppe and Jake Marisnick taking over the spots of Matt Thaiss and Jo Adell.

This should be favorable for the Angels, who earned a 4-1 win with most of this lineup on Saturday. Aaron Hicks was the star of the day yesterday, recording two hits, a home run and an RBI on three at-bats.

With Hicks and other talented batters like Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon and Nolan Schanuel going up against a White Sox team with a 6.35 ERA, fourth-worst in the MLB, look for the Angels to have a good shot at getting some hits, and potentially another home run or two.
