Watch: Tucker Gives Houston Astros Lead Over Tigers With Home Run Blast
Houston Astros slugger Kyle Tucker is back at it again. On Tuesday, Tucker hit a solo shot in the bottom of the fourth inning to give the Astros a 2-1 lead over the Detroit Tigers.
Houston has struggled against this Tigers team, a squad they are heavily favored against on paper. But that's baseball.
Tucker's blast in the fourth travelled 397 feet before landing in the right-center field stands at Minute Maid Park. It came off the bat at 103.2-mph and had a launch angle of 30 degrees.
It was high and it went far. Classic Tucker shot.
The Astros needed the blast as it put some momentum on their side. The lead didnt last long as Detroit got another run back in the top of the fifth to score it. Tigers catcher and Tulane Green Wave product Jake Rogers recorded an RBI-single that scored Jonathan Schoop.
Still, it was a magnificent shot from Tucker early in the game
