The Houston Astros officially announced team sponsor Occidental Petroleum as their patch sponsor on Thursday.

The deal was initially reported by the SportsBusiness Journal’s Terry Lefton earlier in the week.

The Astros will wear WeAreOxy patches with the company’s red and blue colors all season. The patch will be gold when the Astros wear their gold championship jerseys.

The company moved its headquarters from Los Angeles to Houston in 2014.

Major League Baseball has asked teams to work patch deals for at least three years, according to Lefton.
