On Wednesday night, the Houston Astros reminded everyone how dangerous of a team they are.

Being down 2-0 in the series and facing long odds to advance, if anyone is going to flip that script, it's the Astros.

They've come up with important performances when they need it the most. That's been a staple of this franchise during their deep postseason runs.

Wednesday was no different as they pulled of an 8-4 win in Game 3.

According to their superstar Yordan Alvarez, they were not surprised by the result.

"I said before we left home that when other teams face us, something that characterizes this team is that there is no panic. You see it on everybody’s face; there’s no panic, there’s some confidence there," he said.

That confidence likely wasn't felt by all of Houston's fans as they watched their team get into an uncommon hole during their past playoff runs.

The difference between the first two games at home and Game 3 on the road was noticeable.

"As a whole, we just put together better at-bats throughout the lineup today," Alex Bregman noted, despite his 0-4 performance.

All four of the star third baseman's outs were put into play, including two fly outs to center field and a line out to right.

That might signal a turnaround for one of the Astros' best playoff performers who has been cold during this postseason run.

Houston heads into Game 4 on Thursday after getting their first victory of the series.

"We’re just going to take it one game at a time, and we’re going to play like the series is 0-0. We need four wins, and [Wednesday] was one of them," Alvarez said.
