The Houston Astros have three players that are up for Gold Gloves based on their play in the 2023 regular season, including one player that is up for two.

Mauricio Dubón, Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker are up for Gold Gloves. Bregman is one of the finalists at third base, while Tucker is a finalist at right field.

Dubón, meanwhile, is up for Gold Gloves at second base — where he played a good portion of the season in place of an injured Jose Altuve — and at utility player, which is for those that play multiple positions.

Dubón has played six different positions for the Astros this season — 79 at second base, 29 at center field, nine at shortstop, nine at center field, two at right field and one at first base.

At second base the other finalists are Texas’ Marcus Semien and Cleveland Andrew Gimenez. The other finalists at utility are Detroit’s Zach McKinstry and Tampa Bay’s Taylor Walls.

Bregman played 160 of his 161 games this season at third base, where he had a fielding percentage of .963 and was charged with 15 errors. The other finalists are Toronto’s Matt Chapman and Cleveland’s Jose Ramirez.

Tucker played 153 games in right field, where he is a finalist along with Texas’ Adolis Garcia and Boston’s Alex Verdugo. Tucker had a .900 fielding percentage and eight outfield assists.

The winners will be announced in November.
