The Houston Astros don't have many questions heading into the season. A loaded team from top to bottom, the expectation is for the Astros to make another deep postseason run and have a chance to win a World Series.

One question does remain and that's who's going to pitch in the middle innings. The 7-8-9 of Bryan Abreu, Ryan Pressly, and Josh Hader is set and is the best in baseball.

If Houston can get into the seventh inning with a lead, there's a good chance they're going to win the game.

With those questions in the fifth and sixth innings, why not go out and add another arm to make this unit even more dominant?

Zachary Rymer of Bleacher Report proposes an idea that sends Devin Williams to the Astros.

HE writes that the Houston bullpen is more than good enough at the back end with Hader, Abreu, and Pressly, but the addition of Williams would be an exciting one.

"Still, you'll have to pardon me for never not wanting to see a Big 3 become a Big 4, especially if it involves Hader and Williams being in the same bullpen again."

While landing Williams would be positive, the Milwaukee Brewers closer was recently diagnosed with two stress fractures in his back and is expected to miss around three months.

Trading for him right now wouldn't make much sense given the injury.

However, it could come back to help the Astros in the long run.

If they were to trade for Williams, his value would be much lower than it was a few days ago.

It's obviously a risk, and one the front office might not be willing to make, but this essentially guarantees Houston a win if they have the lead heading into the sixth inning.

When healthy, Williams is one of the best in the game, known for throwing pitches with ridiculous break.

His 1.53 ERA in 2023 was the best in his career during a full season, a positive sign that he's only getting better.
