WATCH: Abreu Breaks Game 4 of ALCS Wide Open with Massive Home Run
The Houston Astros are showing why they have been one of the best teams away from their home stadium this season.
In Game 3, they put up eight runs on their way to an 8-5 victory that cut their series deficit to 2-1.
As of writing, the Astros currently lead the Texas Rangers 7-3 after Jose Abreu broke the game wide open with his monster three-run shot in the fourth inning.
Once again, Houston is showing that they love playing at Globe Life Field. They have bashed the Rangers when playing that stadium and are doing it during the postseason as well.
Abreu's bomb came at an important time of the game.
After the Astros jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning, Texas fought their way back to tie things up at 3-3 in the bottom of the third inning.
Houston loaded the bases in the fourth and looked like they would deliver damage with Alex Bregman at the plate.
He struck out to bring up Yordan Alvarez, who just missed a grand slam to center field. That deep out turned into a sacrifice fly to give the Astros a 4-3 lead.
Then, Abreu delivered a devastating blow the next at-bat, hitting his home run 438 feet to silence the crowd.
Securing two wins in Arlington is a must if Houston hopes to return home and have a chance at advancing to the World Series for a second-consecutive season.
After that important homer by Abreu, it looks like the Astros are well on their way to ensuring the series will return to Houston.
