The Houston Astros struggled to start the 2023 MLB season but have recently begun to find their identity.

Sweeping the Atlanta Braves, largely seen as a top-three team in the MLB, was an impressive series to add to their trophy case. Ace Framber Valdez has been steady, giving his team a chance to win every time he takes the mound.

The rest of the rotation consisting of Jose Urquidy, Cristian Javier and Hunter Brown have been promising as the Astros pursue another World Series championship.

However, it's the offense that has been most impressive.

Kyle Tucker has looked great this season and Alex Bregman, who believes he will be the 2023 AL MVP, has been serviceable as of late. But it's slugger Yordan Alvarez who has been one of the most incredible players in all of baseball.

Alvarez has been the heart and soul of this offense and has put the Astros either in the game or in the lead. He deserves all the credit.

Take a look at our new video detailing the season up to this point!
