The Oakland A's made their first round of spring roster cuts following Sunday's 5-2 win over the Texas Rangers, trimming their roster to 52 active players.

This first trim includes pitchers Hogan Harris, Osvaldo Bido, and Adrián Martínez, all of whom are on the 40-man roster. Harris held a 0.00 ERA through four innings in camp, allowing one hit, walking two, and striking out six. Bido has been used as a relief arm, pitching one inning on three separate occasions. He finishes with a 9.00 ERA over three frames while allowing two hits, two walks, and striking out three.

Martínez has the most big-league experience out of the group and also struggled the most in his limited work. The right-hander made it into two games, totaling 1 1/3 innings and held a 27.00 ERA after allowing four earned on three hits and a walk.

The A’s also reassigned 13 non-roster invitees to their minor league camp, including left-handed pitchers Easton Lucas and Domingo Robles. Lucas was acquired from the Orioles in the mid-season Shintaro Fujinami deal and allowed one run in one inning of work in camp. He'll be reporting to Triple-A Las Vegas. Robles was signed to a minor-league deal in November and will be reporting to Double-A Midland after striking out one and allowing one hit in his inning of work.

Right-handed pitchers Danis Correa, Stevie Emanuels, Michel Otañez, Jack Perkins, Billy Sullivan and Shoehei Tomioka are also on the move.

Correa was assigned to Midland when he signed and received a non-roster invite to camp. He gave up one run in two innings of work and didn't walk anybody, which has been an issue for the 24-year-old. Emanuels worked 1 2/3 scoreless frames in camp, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out three. He'll also be headed to Midland.

Otañez had a rough first outing in the A's first spring game, walking three in his appearance, collecting only one out while not allowing a hit. He was charged with three runs and also hit a batter, while striking out one. His next appearance went better, with one walk being the only blemish. He'll head to Triple-A.

Perkins didn't pitch in camp. The 24-year-old will likely be headed back to Midland where he got into 12 games (11 starts) and held a 5.67 ERA across 54 innings.

Billy Sullivan was acquired in the Cristian Pache deal with the Phillies last season and worked a clean 1 1/3 innings in camp, allowing zero hits and zero walks while striking out three. Tomioka had a rough couple of outings, allowing five hits and three earned in his two innings of work. He struck out two. Tomioka will presumably join Sullivan in Las Vegas.

Catcher Daniel Susac went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks. The A's first-round selection in 2022 will be headed back to Double-A after playing in 13 games there following his promotion from Lansing. Through 139 pro games, Susac is batting an even .300 with a .363 OBP.

Infielders Cooper Bowman, Drew Lugbauer and Jacob Wilson, and outfielder Jeisson Rosario were also part of Sunday's cuts. Bowman is the forgotten man in the Frankie Montas trade since Ken Waldichuk, JP Sears, and Luis Medina all appear to be rotation options for the A's this season. Bowman, 24, went 2-for-7 with two strikeouts, a walk, and was caught stealing in his only attempt. He has stolen 47 and 38 bases the past two seasons and been caught a total of nine times, good for a 90.4% success rate. He got into 68 games with Midland last season, so he could land at either Double of Triple-A.

Lugbauer hit a big walk-off home run in his second game this spring, but went 2-for-10 with two strikeouts and is more of a depth option at first base.

Jacob Wilson, the A's top pick last Draft, went a solid 3-for-7 with three singles and two runs scored. Known for his contact ability, he also recorded one strikeout this spring at the hands of former A's pitcher Adam Oller, now with the Cleveland Guardians.

Rosario had an interesting line in camp, going 0-for-7 with an RBI and two runs scored. He walked twice and struck out three times. He has one hit in 28 career spring at-bats, and is hitless in his last 21 as a member of the Red Sox, Yankees, and now the A's. He'll be in Vegas to begin the season.
