Wrestler CM Punk, now with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), was handed a "sell" shirt by an A's fan's parents, and posed for the photo below. How invested he is in the "Summer of Sell" isn't known, but Punk has been known to take up causes in the past. Over the weekend there was a woman in the stands with a sign that supported trans rights, and the wrestler paused for a moment to draw attention to the message: "Trans rights are human rights" so this is pretty on-brand for Punk.

CM Punk has been in the news recently after All Elite Wrestling's "All In" pay-per view event over the weekend drew a record 81,035 fans to Wembley Stadium in London. Before the event took place, Punk was reportedly involved in some backstage drama with another wrestler, Jack Perry (f.k.a. Jungle Boy).

According to reports, Perry had wanted to use real glass during a recent television segment, but Punk refused. In his pre-show match with Hook, Perry did a spot onto the windshield of a car, went over to the camera, and said "Real glass. Cry me a river."

What exactly happened once the match was over and Perry went to the back where Punk was waiting for his match, which went on first for the PPV, isn't quite known, but each side has their own version of what transpired. There does appear to have been an altercation, and both wrestlers are reportedly suspended, though AEW will be in Punk's hometown of Chicago this coming week in preparation for their upcoming "All Out" PPV on Sunday, so that suspension could take a week or so to take effect.

If Punk does show up to either Dynamite on Wednesday, Rampage on Friday, or Collision on Saturday, it would be interesting to see if he dons that "sell" shirt that he was handed.
