Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris Arrives at Training Camp Repping Oakland A's
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris is entering his third season in the NFL, having cracked 1,000 yards rushing in each of his first two. Harris was born in Martinez, Ca, grew up in Antioch, and reported to Steelers training camp wearing a green jumpsuit and an A's hat.
Back on May 26th, he was in Oakland to throw out the first pitch before a game and was wearing his A's "Town Business" sweatshirt along with a traditional green and gold A's hat when he appeared on A's Cast. During that broadcast, he described himself as a life-long Bay Area fan. "I like any team that represents the Bay Area," though he did come to training camp wearing an A's hat.
The first pitch that he threw that night was a strike caught by starting pitcher Mason Miller. Harris has also thrown out the first pitch for the San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates in the past, and all of his throws have been in the strike zone.
