Inside the Blue Jays' New Renovated Player Facilities
Much of the Blue Jays' offseason renovation is on full display — the new bars, patios, and redesigned outfield wall.
But, in phase one of their 2022-23 winter renos, Toronto also rebuilt much of the player facilities behind the scenes, including a new barber shop, weight room, family room, and bullpens. Below, check out photos of the player facilities and some quotes and notes on what's new:

The new workout facility is triple the size of the Jays' old weight room, taking it from a high school size to Major League caliber, CEO Mark Shapiro said. It now sits at 7900 square feet, with 14000 pounds of weights, 18 pieces of cardio equipment, and 1000 square feet of mats. The opposing team's workout facility will get a facelift next winter, too, but it won't be quite as enhanced as Toronto's fresh workout room.
"It'll be just good enough that we don't get complains, but not too nice," Shapiro said.
Toronto's new bullpens go beyond a raised pitching surface and up-close view for the fans, too. The Jays added a washroom underneath the mounds (something the old 'pens didn't have), designated activation areas, and seating to watch the game from up top or below the mounds.
"The bullpen is a team within a team and we're giving this team its own space instead of just a holding tank to sit in before they have to warm up," Shapiro said.
The player facility refresh went beyond the game, too, with a new team barbershop providing players with a 'gathering spot' for their 'pregame rituals' and the family room providing an escape from baseball for players' families and children of all ages.
