A reported 463,000 people watched the Blue Jays' spring opener versus the Pirates, which aired Saturday on Sportsnet. That whopping TV audience was more than the average viewership of any other MLB team during last year's regular season, according to sports media analyst Adam Seaborn.

The 463,000 viewers for the Jays' 2023 Grapefruit League opener narrowly outclass last year's audience of 451,000 for the first spring game.
The Blue Jays officially begin their season March 30 on the road versus the Cardinals. The club returns to Rogers Centre on April 11 against the Tigers.
