Watch: Jordan Romano Discusses MLB's New Foreign Substance Rule

Jordan Romano discusses the clarity of Major League Baseball's new sticky stuff rules

Sticky stuff has taken over daily baseball conversation.

Blue Jays reliever Jordan Romano discussed the clarity of Major League Baseball's new foreign substance rules with the media Wednesday.

"I don't think I'm gonna get in trouble for any of that stuff," Romano said. "But it's always in the back of your head."

Under new guidelines, players caught with any foreign substance will face a 10-day paid suspension. The rules ban the use of pine tar, spider tack, and even a rosin/sunscreen combination.

Romano also discussed the timing of the new rule, saying it was something that could have been brought up during the offseason.
