Watch: Montoyo Discusses Playing on Canada Day in Buffalo

Blue Jays Manager Charlie Montoyo said days like today make him miss playing in Toronto more than usual

It has been 641 days since the Blue Jays last played in Canada.

Toronto Manager Charlie Montoyo said days like today, Canada Day, make him and the team miss playing at the Rogers Centre even more than usual. Montoyo discussed the stadium atmosphere and the crowd all decked out in red that they usually see at home on July 1st.

"Buffalo has been great to us, don't get me wrong," Montoyo said. "But today is one of those days where, man, I wish we were in Toronto."

The Blue Jays have been playing out of makeshift home stadiums for over a year, and questions still remain if the Blue Jays will make it back to Toronto this season.
