The Atlanta Braves had yet another offensive surge to make up a deficit and win last night, with the offense powering the Braves to a 9-8 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Atlanta’s overcome two disastrous starts from the top of their rotation to now be primed for a series sweep, with Chris Sale on the mound this afternoon in Truist Park.

Lineups for the Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday, April 6th

Here's how Atlanta will line up for the contest:

RF Ronald Acuña Jr
2B Ozzie Albies
3B Austin Riley
1B Matt Olson
DH Marcell Ozuna
CF Michael Harris II
SS Orlando Arcia
LF Jarred Kelenic
C Chadwick Tromp

Sale’s making his second start for the Braves, and his first in Truist Park. It’s something he mentioned looking forward when he first joined the team, given the rich history of the organization. He’s a bit of an unknown to Arizona, for the most part, with only a handful of their lineup regulars having any meaningful experience against the lefty. Two notable exceptions, though: OF Randal Grichuk, who is batting .333 with two homers and three RBIs in eighteen at-bats, and OF Lourdes Gurriel, batting only .200 in twenty at-bats with a homer and three RBIs.

Here's Arizona's lineup today:

2B Ketel Marte
CF Corbin Carroll
LF Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
1B Christian Walker
3B Eugenio Suárez
RF Randal Grichuk
SS Blaze Alexander
C Tucker Barnhart
2B Kevin Newman

Very few Braves have even seen Arizona starter Ryne Nelson, never mind have success against him. Marcell Ozuna (2-4, HR, 2 RBIs) and Austin Riley (1-5, HR, 2 RBIs) are the pace-setters for the Atlanta offense in this one.
