Starting for the White Sox is lefty Garrett Crochet. Converting to starting after a professional career entirely as a reliever, Crochet went six innings on Opening Day against the Detroit Tigers with only one run allowed on five hits, walking none and striking out eight. He's a relative unknown to the Braves roster, with only Adam Duvall (sac fly RBI) and Matt Olson (0-1) having ever faced the lefty.
