Atlanta Braves offense: 'You have to like what you saw'

The Atlanta Braves offense could be dangerous this season.

The Atlanta Braves looked good on offense over the weekend in their series against the Washington Nationals. Lindsay Crosby, Editor in Chief of Braves Today and a cohost on the Braves Today Podcast, commented, "You have to like what you saw from the offense this weekend." And it's hard to argue with him.

The Braves hit multiple home runs, with Matt Olson leading the charge. But it wasn't just Olson doing the damage. Ronald Acuña also hit a home run, and even started game two off with a leadoff homer. Acuña also showcased his speed on the bases, stealing one on Thursday, while Sam Hilliard also contributed a steal.

Overall, the Braves' offense was firing on all cylinders, with the exception of Sean Murphy who struggled with the bat. Despite Murphy's struggles, the team looked just as good as we thought they were going to be.

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see if the Braves can maintain this level of offensive production. But for now, it's clear that they have the potential to be one of the most dangerous teams in the league. As Crosby summed up on the Braves Today Podcast, "You thought you'd see this from this Braves team, and yeah, they're as good as we thought they were."
