Barstool calls out Braves fans for their actions during Game 1 of the NLDS

After a catcher's interference call that Braves fans didn't agree with, a few of them littered the field with beer cans.

During the bottom of the eighth inning in game one of the NLDS, Sean Murphy was called for catcher's interference on a play that resulted in another run for the Phillies. The game was 2-0 Phillies at that point but that run extended the lead to three runs.

From watching the replays on TV and just watching it in real time, it would be hard to say it was anything other than a foul ball. Murphy didn't argue the call at all, though. He heard it. He didn't feel it but he heard it. He knew it was the right call.

Nevertheless, Braves country was NOT happy about the call and they expressed their displeasure by littering the outfield with beer cans. They threw beer cans while the Braves were in the field. I get it, you're upset about the call, but there is never any circumstance where you should litter the field with trash.

"Plus it's not like that call had any impact on the game anyway. The Phillies were already up 2-0 at that point, and the Braves historic offense didn't score a single run all night. But none of that will stop Braves fans from acting like the trash they were throwing onto the field." - Barstool

I'm not going to dive into any of the expletive-ridden words that were expressed in this article, but I can agree it was a bad look for the Braves. Hopefully, things will go our way in Game Two tonight so we can even the series.
