The World Baseball Classic is back, and the Atlanta Braves have eight major-league players/prospects participating in the festivities. Here's everything you need to know about their participation in the "World Cup" of baseball so far

What Countries do these players represent?

Ronald Acuna Jr. - Venezuela

Eddie Rosario - Puerto Rico

Yacksel Rios - Puerto Rico

Luis De Avila (MLB Pipeline's #30 prospect in the system)- Columbia

Alan Rangel (MLB Pipeline's #26 prospect in the system)- Mexico

Roel Ramirez - Mexico

Alex Segal - Israel

Chadwick Tromp - Netherlands

How have these players fared in the World Baseball Classic thus far?

Ronald Acuna Jr. has had a rough go of it early. He is batting .143 through two games, going 1-7. The Braves star has scored twice and walked twice for the 2-0 Venezuela team. Acuna Jr. has rolled into multiple double plays and struck out a few times, so this has not been the start to the WBC that he would have wanted. His team still has two more pool play games, where Acuna Jr. will look to start shining at the plate.

Eddie Rosario is hitting .167 as he is 1-6 through two games. He has hit one homer, tallied two rbi's, and walked once. Like Acuna Jr., Rosario will look to pick things up for his team as they prepare for their last two pool play games.

Chadwick Tromp and his Netherlands squad have already played all four pool play games. They were 2-2 in pool play. Tromp started all four games behind the plate and was 4-14 in these four ball games, giving him a .286 batting average. He hit one homer and had three rbi's in his four starts.

Yacksel Rios has thrown one inning for Puerto Rico and was nearly dominant aside from allowing one base knock. The right-hander had the cutter working, helping him to strike out three in his one inning of work. You can expect to see him more out of the bullpen in Puerto Rico's last two pool play games.

The rest of the Braves prospects that are a part of the WBC have yet to get into any games for their respective Countries.
