Braves Send Out New Look Outfield & Lineup Behind Chris Sale in North Port

The Atlanta Braves are hoping the weather holds out so that the tall lefty can get some work in

The Atlanta Braves are working on other potential outfield configurations, given the news that Ronald Acuña Jr. may not be available on Opening Day thanks to an "irritated" meniscus in his right knee.

(We'll know more after he meets with his ACL surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, in Los Angeles on Monday for further evaluation.)

Here's how the Braves are configuring the outfield against the Philadelphia Phillies in North Port today:

CF Michael Harris II
2B Ozzie Albies
3B Austin Riley
1B Matt Olson
DH Marcell Ozuna
LF Jarred Kelenic
SS Orlando Arcia
RF Forrest Wall
C Chadwick Tromp

Starting for the Braves is Chris Sale, the veteran lefty that Atlanta acquired from the Boston Red Sox this offseason (along with cash to offset part of his salary) for infielder Vaughn Grissom.

Which outfielder has the first shot at replacing Acuña on Opening Day (if he's not able and ready to go) has been a question for the fans, and Forrest Wall's the first man up in spring training. He's been mashing in Grapefruit League action so far this spring, batting .500 with a 1.983 OPS and three homers. For the lineup, Michael Harris II moves up to leadoff in Ronald's absence, with the number two through five batters the same as the end of the regular season.

Atlanta Has Outfield Options if Ronald Acuña Jr Isn't Ready For Opening Day

Here's how the Phillies are lining up today:

CF Johan Rojas
1B Alec Bohm
3B Edmundo Sosa
C Garrett Stubbs
RF Jake Cave
2B Weston Wilson
LF David Dahl
SS Scott Kingery
DH Cristian Pache

Today's starting pitcher for the Phillies is Connor Brogdon.

UPDATE: SS Scott Kingery has been scratched from today's contest and Philly has released a new lineup:
