How to watch Fred McGriff's induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame

The former Braves first baseman is being inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame this Sunday afternoon, with Chipper Jones and Marquis Grissom on the broadcast

With more than 50 Hall of Fame members expected to attend, MLB Network will exclusively televise the National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, featuring 2023 members Fred McGriff and Scott Rolen this Sunday, July 23 in Cooperstown, New York at 1:30 p.m. ET. MLB Network has exclusively televised the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony every year since its launch in 2009.

Leading into this weekend’s coverage, Brian Kenny will host MLB Now live from the Hall of Fame tomorrow alongside 2019 BBWAA Career Excellence Award winner Jayson Stark and Hall of Fame voter Jon Morosi at 12 p.m. ET. Following MLB Now, Harold Reynolds and Adnan Virk will co-host MLB Tonight at 6 p.m. ET, with Reynolds reporting live from Cooperstown. Hall of Famers Jeff Bagwell and Ryne Sandberg are scheduled to join MLB Network’s coverage from Cooperstown tomorrow, plus Kenny will recap the Hall of Fame weekend on MLB Now live from Cooperstown on Monday, July 24 at 12 p.m. ET.

For this Sunday’s coverage, MLB Network host Greg Amsinger will be joined by Morosi, Reynolds, Stark and Hall of Fame voter Tom Verducci live at 12 p.m. ET, followed by the Induction Ceremony at 1:30 p.m. ET. To begin the festivities, the paths to Cooperstown for McGriff and Rolen will be documented in a new MLB Network open, voiced and written by Hall of Fame MLB Network broadcaster Bob Costas. As part of the coverage, former teammates and peers will reflect on the class of 2023 in new content, including:

· Hall of Famer Chipper Jones speaks on former Atlanta Braves teammate Fred McGriff;

· Four-time Gold Glove Award winner Marquis Grissom highlights his friendship and playing alongside McGriff;

· McGriff takes Harold Reynolds through his Hall of Fame journey in an exclusive one-on-one interview;

· Three-time MVP Award winner and new MLB Network analyst Albert Pujols reflects on his time with Cardinals teammate Scott Rolen;

· Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Costas sits down with Rolen for an exclusive one-on-one interview;

· Hall of Famer Larry Walker discusses the two new inductees and playing alongside Rolen in 2005 for the Cardinals.

With Brian Kenny serving as the master of ceremonies, the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be simulcast on MLB.com, MLB.TV and available via the MLB app.
