Lineup, how to watch the Atlanta Braves take on the Colorado Rockies on Friday night

Atlanta's sending lefty Jared Shuster to the mound, opposing RHP Dinelson Lamet

Fresh off of a 8-3 win against the Rockies on Thursday night that saw top prospect AJ Smith-Shawver record his first career win, the Braves are back at it on Friday night (in the iconic Friday Night Red jerseys) against Colorado in Truist Park, with Jared Shuster on the bump opposing Dinelson Lamet of the Rockies.

Here's how the Braves will line up for the contest:

Not many changes to the new iteration of the lineup - Ozzie Albies gets a 2nd straight game in the two-hole, with Matt Olson batting 5th. Travis d'Arnaud takes his turn behind the dish, batting cleanup in place of Sean Murphy. Eddie Rosario returns to left field, batting one spot behind DH Marcell Ozuna, batting 6th.

Pitching Matchup for the Atlanta Braves vs Colorado Rockies on Friday, June 16th

Taking the mound for Atlanta is LHP Jared Shuster. The youngster is 3-2 with a 5.05 ERA in his seven starts on the season, with Atlanta going 3-4 in those outings. His stats are heavily weighted by two bad outings to open the season, which saw him optioned to Gwinnett in early April. Since being recalled from AAA Gwinnett in mid-May, he's been much improved, going 3-1 with an ERA of 4.00 and an opposing batting average allowed of only .190, with sixteen strikeouts. The issue for Shuster continues to be walks - he's walked four or more batters in three of his seven starts, with Atlanta winning only one of those games.

Opposing Atlanta is RHP Dinelson Lamet. The 30 year-old is 1-3 this season, with a 10.38 ERA in his fifteen appearances (three starts). After starting the season in the bullpen, he moved into a starting role to close out June and hasn't really thrived, allowing eleven runs (ten earned) in eleven innings and taking two losses. A few Braves have hit him well in the past, with Ronald Acuña Jr (1-3, HR, RBI), Orlando Arcia (2-4, HR, RBI), and Marcell Ozuna (1-3, HR, RBI) all taking him deep in the limited sample sizes.
