WATCH: Austin Riley OBLITERATES a baseball for his 30th home run of the season and an one-run Braves lead

Riley took Sean Manaea deep, his first homer in twelve days, and it sounded like a gunshot off the bat

Austin Riley absolutely pulverized a baseball.

Riley, who surged after the All-Star Break but was going through a mini-power outage at the plate (no home runs in the last twelve days) broke the skid in memorable fashion against Giants pitcher Sean Manaea.

It was a first pitch fastball from Manaea, coming in on Riley's hands at just under 93 mph, and Riley successfully turned on it and absolutely OBLITERATED that ball to left field. Coming off the bat at 111.2 mph, Riley's homer went 402 feet off the bat, landing halfway up the left-field bleachers at Oracle Park.

At the halfway mark of the game, Atlanta's sitting on a slim 3-2 lead and Max Fried's out for his fifth inning of work, sitting on 72 pitches (41 strikes) with two runs allowed on five hits, striking out five and walking two.
