There is not a team hotter than the Atlanta Braves at the plate right now.

In the top of the sixth inning, designated hitter Marcell Ozuna hit a home run to left field to tie the record. It was his 31st of the season.

Shortstop Orlando Arcia wanted a piece of the action as well, hitting a two-run bomb to break the Braves' franchise record for home runs in a single season with 250. It was his 16th of the season.

Atlanta now has seven players with twenty or more homeruns, with Orlando Arcia's 16 within striking distance of making it eight. Atlanta's got three players with 30 or more homeruns, and both Ronald Acuña Jr (29) and Ozzie Albies (28) should be joining that group during the regular season. Both the 20+ homer group and the 30+ homer group would be team records for a single season.
