WATCH: Marcell Ozuna stays hot, adds to Braves' lead in Denver

Marcell the Shell singles through a drawn-in infield to push the lead to 3-1

When you're hot, you're hot, and that often means coming to the plate in advantageous situations. One such opportunity fell to Marcell Ozuna in Denver tonight, and he delivered yet again.

Austin Riley led off the inning with a loud double, and then advanced to third on a wild pitch. Matt Olson hit the ball into the drawn-in infield, and Riley stayed put at third. The Rockies would not be so fortunate when Ozuna pulled a grounder through the hole to drive in his second run of the evening and 73rd of the year. It's been somewhat a pitchers' duel tonight, as Charlie Morton has continued to throw the ball well for the Braves and Peter Lambert has danced around trouble all night so far to limit the Braves to just three. Atlanta carries that 3-1 lead into the middle innings.

Tonight's game is being broadcast across Braves Country on Bally Sports South. The radio call is available in the Atlanta metro area on 680 The Fan, across the Southeast on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network, and nationally on MLB.tv.
