WATCH: Orlando Arcia ends Zac Gallen's perfect game with a homer to left field

The Braves take what feels like their first lead of the series thanks to Orlando Arcia's bomb in the bottom of the 6th

We told you, entering the game, that Zac Gallen was really good. He was perfect, in fact, for a large portion of this.

Zac Gallen faced the minimum 16 batters in this one until Orlando Arcia came up in the bottom of the 6th with one out and took an inside slider 403 feet down the left field line for the first Braves hit of the day.

It's been a bad luck day for Atlanta: Gallen was perfect through 5.1 innings, but Atlanta had TEN hard-hit balls - defined as 95 mph or more - in the contest and had exactly nothing to show for it before the Orlando Arcia homerun.

Michael Harris II followed the homer with a groundball up the middle that deflected off the 2nd base bag and over the outstretched hand of 2B Ketel Marte for a double. Harris was later picked off trying to steal third, with Gallen erasing the runner with a good feint from the mound that prompted Harris to break for 3rd early.

On a day where Spencer Strider is looking dominant - through six innings, he's allowed two hits and no runs with thirteen strikeouts - every single hit might be important for Atlanta.

The first pitch in the series finale was at 12:20 PM ET from Truist Park. The home broadcast, with Voice of the Braves Brandon Gaudin, is available inside Braves Country on Bally Sports South and is available on MLB.TV outside of the broadcast area. The radio call, with Ben Ingram, is available locally on 680 AM/93.7 FM The Fan or outside the Atlanta market on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network or MLB.com.
