WATCH: Ozzie Albies gives Atlanta an early lead with a first inning homer

The Braves 2nd baseman hit Atlanta's 302nd homer of the season, sending one into the Chophouse

Ozzie Albies doesn't want a repeat of last night, apparently.

In case you missed it, Atlanta dropped into an early 5-0 hole and scored seven straight runs to rally to a 7-6 victory late.

Not tonight.

Ozzie Albies got the scoring started with just one out in the 1st, hitting hit 33rd homer of the season to stake Atlanta to an 1-0 lead.

It's Ozzie's 33rd homer of the season, a new career-high in a season that's seen many Braves pass previous highs for power production (and it's his 105th RBI, one away from his 2021 career-high). It's the team's 302nd homer, putting them just five away from the MLB record for a single season, currently held by the 2019 Twins.
