WATCH: Sean Murphy gives Atlanta a one-run lead in the 8th inning

The Braves catcher sent a two-out fly ball to right field and Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki just...missed it

The Atlanta Braves just got a gift.

With runners on 2nd and 3rd, down by a run with two outs in the bottom of the 8th, catcher Sean Murphy sent a lazy fly ball to right field, to the waiting glove of outfielder Seiya Suzuki.

Who missed it.

The ball landed behind Suzuki, scoring both Matt Olson from 3rd and pinch-runner Forrest Wall from 2nd, giving Atlanta a 7-6 lead.

There wasn't a lot of wind, the light wasn't in his eyes, he just...missed it.

The Braves are sending closer Raisel Iglesias out for the ninth inning, asking him to get his 31st save of the year.
