The Chicago Cubs will compete in a rubber match on Sunday afternoon against their divisional rivals the Milwaukee Brewers. It will determine the victor of the first series of the 2023 MLB season. 

After winning 4-0 on Opening Day, the Cubs dropped Saturday's contest to the Brewers 3-1. Ian Happ had the highlight of the afternoon when he launched the Cubs first home run of the season, a solo shot in the sixth inning. 

Now, Jameson Taillon will take the mound on Sunday against the Brewers Eric Lauer as he tries to get Chicago back in the win column. 

First pitch is scheduled for 1:20 p.m. CT. 

The game will be televised in the local Chicago market on the Marquee Sports Network. It will also be streamed live on MLB.tv for those who reside outside the market.
