Cubs vs. Dodgers Series: How To Watch, Stream, Probable Pitchers
The Chicago Cubs are on a hot streak going into Friday’s series opener with the Los Angeles Dodgers at Wrigley Field on Friday.
All three games are in the afternoon and the Cubs (4-2) have won four games since losing their first two of the season against the Texas Rangers.
Since returning from Texas, the Cubs swept the Colorado Rockies, with victories of 5-0, 12-2 and 9-8.
That opener against the Rockies was Shota Imanaga’s first start as a Cub, and it was one of the best Cubs debuts in recent memory. He’ll pitch in the series finale on Sunday, but he’ll miss a matchup with his countryman, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who will pitch for the Dodgers on Saturday.
This will be the first visit by designated hitter Shohei Ohtani, who signed with the Dodgers in the offseason. The Cubs were one of the teams that were in on trying to lure Ohtani away from the Los Angeles Angels.
In fact, the Dodgers have one of the most potent batting orders in baseball, lead off by Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and Ohtani.
Here is the preview for the game, with probable pitchers, starting lineups, how to watch and listen, injury updates and more.
