Diamondbacks Announce 2024 Spring Training Dates

Diamondbacks baseball is closer than it may seem

After a lengthy offseason, fans will soon be able to watch their snakes back in action. The reigning 2023 National League Champions have released their Spring Training information.

The Diamondbacks released the dates of their 2024 spring training. Pitchers and catchers will report for their first workout Wednesday, February 14th, while Arizona's first full-team workout will take place on Monday, February 19th. 

Beginning on the 14th, these workouts will be open to the public at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. This will be the 14th year Salt River Fields will host the D-backs' spring training. Open workouts will take place daily from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

The Diamondbacks will begin their Spring Training matchups by playing three games from February 23-25, starting with a "road" game against the Colorado Rockies, before playing two "home" games against the Rockies and Chicago White Sox. All home games will begin at 1:10pm.

Notable opponents will include Arizona's World Series opponent Texas Rangers on February 27th and March 7th, as well as a matchup with their NL West rival Los Angeles Dodgers on March 10th.

The D-backs will end spring by playing two exhibition games against the Cleveland Guardians at Chase Field on March 25-26, with Opening Day coming on March 28th against the Rockies.
