The Arizona Diamondbacks have advanced to the National League Championship Series. After securing a spot as the 3rd and final Wild Card team they defeated the Milwaukee Brewers in two straight games in that round. They followed that up by shocking the Los Angeles Dodgers, taking two in Dodger Stadium and completing the three game sweep of the divisional series at home in Chase Field last night.

MLB has announced the schedule for the NLCS as below.  The D-backs will open the series on the road, at  Philadelphia. The Phillies won their Divisional Series against the Brave tonight, three games to one. All games will be broadcast on TBS, and game times shown below are all Arizona Time

D-backs Phillies NLCS Schedule
* Games 5,6,&7 if Necessary. ** If the ALCS is complete by Mon., Oct. 23rd, then NLCS Game 6 will move to 5:07 p.m / Jack Sommers

Two Key points to note about the schedule

1.) The first D-backs home game on Thursday October 19th is a DAY GAME, beginning at 2:07 P.M. Arizona Time.  Schedule your off day from work now if you want to attend or watch live

2.) None of the games will be broadcast during prime time in Arizona. The evening games all start at 5:07 P.M. Arizona time regardless if home or away. In addition to Game 3 being a day game, Game 6 in the away park will be broadcast at 2:07 P.M. Arizona time.

The D-backs have not yet announced their starting pitchers for Games 1 & 2, but they will almost certainly be Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly.  The Game 1 starter would be able to start gave five on normal rest, and Game 2 starter can do the same in game six. (If necessary). So if the series goes at least six games the D-backs should be able to start their two best pitchers in four of the six games.
